Dr. Maria Kalweit is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Computer Science, Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Her work focuses on artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, oncology, and autonomous systems. She co-leads projects on AI-driven cancer treatment optimization, medical imaging analysis, and reinforcement learning for autonomous driving. She holds the Gips-Schüle-Nachwuchspreis (2024) and Wolfgang-Gentner-Nachwuchsförderpreis (2023), and contributed to a Best Paper Award at IJCNN 2018.
