Dr. Maria Isabel Ripoll Perelló is a Tenured Senior Lecturer in Catalan Philology at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB), affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts. She serves as the director of the Catalan Philology department and teaches courses on Catalan language, historical grammar, and medieval literature. Her research focuses on Catalan philology, medieval literary studies, and the interrelationship of Romance languages.
