Maria Hartwig

Maria Hartwig is a Professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY. She specializes in deception detection, interviews, and interrogation techniques. Her research focuses on legal settings and the psychology of deception, with a strong emphasis on training legal professionals such as prosecutors, judges, police detectives, and military officers.
