Maria Gutierrez-Mecinas

Maria Gutierrez-Mecinas is a Research Associate in the Advanced Research Centre at the University of Glasgow. Her work focuses on neurochemical characterization and synaptic circuit mapping in the mouse spinal cord, particularly in the dorsal horn, where she investigates excitatory and inhibitory interneurons involved in pain and itch signaling.
