Maria Franklin

Maria Franklin is a Professor and Department Associate Chair at the Department of Anthropology, University of Texas at Austin, within the College of Liberal Arts. She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on historical archaeology, African Diaspora studies, and feminist theory, examining intersections of race, gender, and archaeological theory.
