Maria Elisabeth Nilsson is an Associate Professor at the Department of Media Studies, Stockholm University. She has held academic positions at the University of Iowa (Ph.D. in Communication Science, MFA in Nonfiction Writing), Uppsala University, and Mid Sweden University.
