Maria Becker

Maria Becker is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Nebraska Wesleyan University. She teaches courses in Physics, Geology, Chemistry, and an Archway Seminar focused on Sustainability, emphasizing active learning and student engagement. Her research explores foundational issues in Quantum Mechanics, particularly decoherence and its relation to the quantum measurement problem, utilizing quantum computers, light-matter interactions, and acoustic analogues.
