Mari Kooskora is an Associate Professor and Head of the Center for Business Ethics at the Estonian Business School. She has over 25 years of experience in business ethics, responsible entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Her academic roles include Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Communication and leadership of the Business Ethics Center. She has taught internationally and supervised over 350 theses.
- Education: PhD in Business Ethics from the University of Jyväskylä (2008), MBA from Estonian Business School (2001), and Master's in Business Administration from Tallinn University of Technology (1993).
- Research focuses on corporate moral development, CSR, ethical leadership, and gender in leadership.
Her research examines sustainability attitudes among executives, CSR policy implementation, and educational practices in management. She has authored/co-authored over 112 publications, including articles in Journal of Business Ethics and Business Ethics, Environment and Responsibility.
Awards include the 2017 Best Speaker Award at SGEM and Estonian Business School teaching accolades. She has led EU-funded projects on CSR strategies and moral competence development. Active in editorial roles and international ethics networks like ISBEE and EBEN.
Current roles include board memberships in the International Society of Business and Economic Ethics and the Responsible Business Forum Estonia. She oversees the Journal of Management and Change and contributes to policy initiatives on CSR indexing and transparency.
