Margot Volem

Margot Volem is an Instructor and Dual Credit Faculty Liaison in the English Department at the University of Idaho. She coordinates with high school teachers across Idaho to deliver dual-credit English courses and teaches undergraduate writing courses (ENGL 101, 102, and 175). Her expertise lies in TESOL and composition/rhetoric pedagogy.

• Education: M.Ed. in TESOL (Seattle University, 2007); B.F.A. in Painting (University of Oregon, 2001)

Her professional background includes teaching English language programs at INTO Oregon State University, the University of Texas at Austin, and international institutions such as Shandong University of Science and Technology (China) and Mustafa Kemal University (Turkey). She served as a U.S. Department of State English Language Fellow at Georgetown University.
