Margit Fauser is a Senior Lecturer at Bielefeld University's Faculty of Sociology where she currently serves as Principal Investigator for the DFG project "Urban Border Spaces" since April 2018. Her current DFG-funded project "Urban Border Spaces" represents the culmination of her scholarly trajectory examining how urban spaces function as borders or borderlands in migration contexts.
