Margarethe Macke

Margarethe Macke is a Lecturer at the University of Deusto's Language Centre, where she teaches German in the Modern Languages and Tourism degree programs. She holds a Licenciatura (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) in Translation and Simultaneous Interpretation and Law from the University of the Saarland in Saarbrücken, Germany, and another Licenciatura in Translation (Spanish-German) from the University of Granada, Spain. She also completed a Pedagogy Certification at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid.

Her teaching focuses on modern language instruction, particularly German, integrating legal and international relations perspectives into her curriculum. Research interests include International Relations, Legal Studies, and innovative language pedagogy methodologies.

Margarethe offers office hours on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 11:00 in Room: Inst. Idiomas at the Bilbao campus.
