Margaret Wallace is an Assistant Professor of Aviation Management at Florida Institute of Technology's College of Aeronautics, where she teaches Air Traffic Control and Airport Management courses. She holds an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University (2015), an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and an Associate of Airway Science from the Community College of the Air Force.
Before joining Florida Tech, she served as Department Chair and Assistant Professor at Hampton University for 12 years, and spent 15+ years in industry roles including Airport Manager at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Air Force. Her research focuses on airport planning/development and air traffic control training methodologies. She actively mentors students, sponsors organizations, and supports academic/cultural activities to foster student development.
