Margaret Bloom is a Visiting Professor at King's College London and currently serves as an Honorary Professor. She holds additional roles as Vice Chair of the Professional Standards Council for Asset Based Finance, Independent Member of the LINK Consumer Council, and Senior Consultant at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Previously, she was Director of Competition Enforcement at the Office of Fair Trading where she implemented major competition legislation.
Her research focuses on UK and EU competition law and US antitrust law, with expertise in international merger control and leniency programs. Publications analyze regulatory frameworks, enforcement challenges, and policy reforms in antitrust legislation.
