Marcus Doel

Professor Marcus Doel is a distinguished academic in Human Geography and Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation at Swansea University. His expertise spans poststructuralist geographies, media geographies, modernity/postmodernity, and urban theory. He has authored influential books such as Poststructuralist Geographies and Geographies of Violence, and contributed to over 100 peer-reviewed articles. His research explores spatial theory, cinematic cities, consumer society, and deconstruction.
