Marco Snoek is a Full Professor at the University of Amsterdam's Faculty of Education (FE), affiliated with the Centre for Applied Research on Education and Teacher Development and School Innovation department. His research focuses on teacher profession, leadership, policy, and curriculum innovation. He holds additional roles including Co-chair of the Teacher Education Policy in Europe Network (2019–present) and former Guest Lecturer at Tallinn University (2016–2020).
Education: PhD in 'Developing Teacher Leadership and its impact on schools' from University of Amsterdam (2014). Awards include 'Lector van het Jaar 2013' and 'Ere-lid Vereniging Lerarenopleiders Nederland'.
Research interests span teacher development, school cultures, distributed leadership, and urban education.
