Marco Santangelo

Marco Santangelo is a Full Professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin, affiliated with the Interuniversity Department of Territorial Sciences, Planning and Policies (DIST). He serves as Coordinator of the Doctoral College in Urban and Regional Development, Deputy Director of DIST, and Member of the Doctoral School Council.

• Research Interests: Cities, Critical Urban Studies, Human Geography, Environmental and Climate Change, Spatial Planning, Urban and Regional Governance.
• Teaching: Courses include Global Urban Geographies, Cities, Infrastructure, and Climate Change, and Interpreting the City and the Territory.
• Projects: Leads the IRACF project on international routes for future cities and contributes to the PNRR LINUS initiative on student housing.
• Publications: Focus on urban resilience, student housing policies, and university city planning.
