Marco Piras is a Full Professor at the Department of Environmental, Land and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI) at the Polytechnic University of Turin. He serves as Deputy Director of DIATI and a member of the Interdepartmental Center PIC4SeR for Service Robotics. His research focuses on geomatics, GIS, GNSS, photogrammetry, and UAV applications for environmental monitoring and infrastructure assessment.
