Marco Marabelli is Professor and Research Council Chair in Computer Information Systems at Bentley University, with joint appointments in the Hoffman Center for Business Ethics. He holds dual PhDs in Management and Slavic Studies.
Research examines the societal impacts of emerging technologies, particularly focusing on ethical implications of algorithmic systems in organizations, DEI challenges in AI/metaverse platforms, and healthcare access disparities amplified by technology.
Current projects investigate: 1) Hybrid scientific gatherings for DEI advancement 2) Training data's role in equitable AI systems 3) DEI implications of metaverse adoption 4) Classification systems in AI contexts. Authored a monograph on classification and DEI.
Teaches graduate courses on business analytics and qualitative research methods, bridging technological applications with ethical frameworks in organizational settings.
