Marco H.D. van Leeuwen

Marco H.D. van Leeuwen is a Professor of Historical Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Utrecht University, with affiliations at the International Institute for Social History Amsterdam and the Netherlands Economic History Archives. His work bridges history and sociology, focusing on social inequality, welfare arrangements, and intergenerational mobility across Europe from 1500 to the present.
