Marco Fölsch is a Research Fellow at the Department of Political Science and Sociology, University of Salzburg. He has been affiliated with the university since March 2019 as part of the Horizon 2020 project „Populism and Civic Engagement“ (PaCE). He holds a BA in Political Science from TU Dresden and an MA in Political Science from the University of Vienna. His research focuses on political participation, political psychology, and party competition, with a particular emphasis on populism and electoral behavior. He contributes to projects analyzing referendums, affective polarization, and quantitative methodologies in political research.
