Marco Da Rin

Dr. Marco Da Rin serves as an Associate Professor of Finance at Tilburg University, affiliated with TIAS School for Business and Society, bringing extensive international experience from prior appointments at the London School of Economics, IGIER (Bocconi University), and Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona.

His academic credentials include:

• Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Economics from Bocconi University
• Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Stanford University

Dr. Da Rin's research specializes in entrepreneurial finance, venture capital, and public policy for entrepreneurship, with publications in leading journals including the Journal of Financial Economics and Review of Financial Studies. His work has received scholarly prizes and significant attention from business media such as The Economist and Forbes.com.

He has designed and taught courses across undergraduate, Master, doctoral, MBA, and executive programs globally, and provides consultancy services to the European Commission, OECD, United Nations, regional governments, and private companies as an invited industry expert.

Dr. Da Rin actively contributes to the Executive Master of Business Valuation (MBV) program at TIAS.
