Marco Berti

Marco Berti is a Full Professor at NOVA University Lisbon’s NOVA School of Business and Economics. Previously, he held roles including Associate and Assistant Professor at the University of Technology Sydney (Australia). His career spans over two decades, with a PhD in Business Studies (University of Technology Sydney, 2015) and a Laurea Magistrale in Political Science from the University of Bologna (Italy). Berti specializes in organizational paradox, leadership, and management theory, with notable contributions to understanding contradictions in healthcare, crisis management, and compassionate leadership.

His research emphasizes paradoxical tensions in organizations, particularly through frameworks like the 'both-and approach' and 'dark side of paradoxes.'
