Marcie Lambrix

Marcie Lambrix is a Lecturer and Senior Research Associate in the Department of Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine. She also serves as a Bioethics Research Supervisor and Clinical Ethicist at MetroHealth System's Center for Biomedical Ethics (CBME), a joint collaboration between MetroHealth and CWRU. Her clinical responsibilities include participating in ICU rounds, facilitating advance care planning outreach, and delivering ethics education through the monthly CBME Grand Rounds Series, "Bioethics@Noon."

Her research focuses on clinical decision-making, particularly in burn care, and ethics education. She contributes to interdisciplinary ethics initiatives and serves as a board member of the Bioethics Network of Ohio (BENO), actively organizing its annual conference.

At MetroHealth, she liaises with the privacy department and provides ethics guidance for the correctional healthcare team through monthly orientations.
