Marcia Kwaramba

Marcia Kwaramba is a Research Fellow and Hernando de Soto Fellow at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. She serves as Associate Chair of the Social Responsibility and Sustainability Division, focusing on ethical business practices and global development initiatives.

• Research Interests: Her work examines market behaviors in subsistence marketplaces, particularly smallholder farmer entrepreneurship. She explores how businesses can drive sustainable development and social impact in low-income regions through studies on market participation, marketing systems, and social capital dynamics.
• Scientific Awards: Recognized with the Dean's Faculty Scholar distinction and the Hernando de Soto Fellowship for her contributions to business ethics and social impact research.
