Marci Kwon is an Assistant Professor of Art and Art History at Stanford University, affiliated with the Center for East Asian Studies. She co-directs the Cantor Art Center's Asian American Art Initiative. Her research focuses on 20th-century art, American modernism, and Asian American artistic expressions.

Her work bridges art historical analysis with contemporary cultural discourse, highlighted by her monograph Enchantments: Joseph Cornell and American Modernism (2021) and co-editing the Martin Wong Catalogue Raisonné. She has received multiple teaching awards including the Mellon Foundation Emerging Faculty Leader honor.
