Marcelo Camperi

Marcelo Camperi is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of San Francisco, and former Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Boston University, with expertise spanning topological field theory, particle phenomenology, and computational neuroscience. He previously chaired the Physics department (2000–2007) and served as Dean (2008–present), overseeing significant academic expansions including seven graduate programs and dual-degree collaborations with Law and Business Schools.
