Dr. Marcello Solomon is a Researcher at the University of Sydney's School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and the Net Zero Institute, focusing on Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for carbon capture and sustainable energy applications. He earned his PhD in 2017 at Sydney under Prof. Deanna D'Alessandro and Kate Jolliffe, followed by postdoctoral roles at the University of Adelaide (with Christian Doonan, supported by Petronas) and Graz University of Technology (with Paolo Falcaro), before joining Southern Green Gas and returning to Sydney in 2023.
