Dr. Marcel Humar is a Lecturer for special tasks in the didactics of ancient languages at the Department of Greek and Latin Philology, Free University of Berlin. He holds a doctorate in Philosophy from the same institution (2015) and a state examination in biology and ancient Greek. His academic career includes teaching biology and ancient Greek at the Goethe-Gymnasium Berlin from 2015–2022, transitioning to his current role in 2022. He is also part of the editorial team for Latin and Greek in Berlin and Brandenburg since 2023.
