Dr. Marcaline Boyd is an Assistant Professor of Classics in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Delaware, part of the College of Arts & Sciences. Her research focuses on Greek tyranny and its socio-cultural dimensions, combining literary, historical, and material evidence like epigraphy. She teaches Greek and Latin language courses and civilization studies in translation, frequently engaging in the Honors Program. Dr. Boyd advises undergraduate majors/minors in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies and serves as faculty advisor to the Delta Tau chapter of Eta Sigma Phi.
