Marc Silberschatz is the Director of Drama, Dance, Production, and Film, holding a PhD from the University of St Andrews and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, alongside an MA in Classical and Contemporary Text (Directing). His work spans directing over twenty-five productions across New York, Scotland, and England, including acclaimed performances like The Oresteia and Moby Dick Rehearsed.
As a practice-led researcher, his publications include studies on actor consciousness, flow theory, and Stanislavsky’s methods. Current research interests focus on minimal performance structures, divided consciousness, and applications of positive and Jungian psychology in theatre. He has presented at major conferences, such as the International Conference on Consciousness, Theatre, Literature and the Arts.
His awards include the New York Fringe Excellence Award for T.L.C.. Silberschatz also serves as a fight director and explores narrative innovation in minimal-structure performances.
