Dr. Marc Lepere is a Professor of Practice in Sustainability at King’s Business School, King's College London. He leads Executive Education programs in ESG and Sustainability, focusing on integrating environmental, social, and governance principles into business practices. With a PhD and MSc from King’s College London and an Economics degree from Trinity College Dublin, he brings over two decades of industry experience, including roles as Chief Marketing Officer at Havas Worldwide and Executive Vice President at McCann Erickson WorldGroup. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
His research interests span ESG frameworks, climate finance policies, and corporate accountability. Notable publications address emissions reporting discrepancies, AI-driven ESG risks, and the limitations of current ethical rating systems. He co-founded Omnevue, a platform enabling SMEs to access affordable ESG data assurance.
Recent work highlights include advocating for satellite monitoring of corporate emissions and critiquing gaps in GHG accounting protocols. He has delivered keynote addresses and workshops on net-zero planning, climate finance, and ESG integration in startups.
