Marc Dupré is the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Management at the University of Angers (UCO). He holds a doctorate in Private Law (2011) and serves as a lecturer-researcher in Private Law. He is an associate researcher at the Jean BODIN Center (EA 4337) and the IEJUC (EA 1919). Previously, he was a lawyer at the Chalon-sur-Saône Bar (2014–2016) and a member of the editorial board of Cahiers de Jurisprudence d'Aquitaine et de Midi-Pyrénées (2009–2014).
His research focuses on private law, contract law, civil liability, and legal philosophy, with contributions to topics such as natural law, discrimination, and legal ethics. He has published extensively in journals like Responsabilité civile et assurances and Lexbase, and has participated in conferences on legal theory and ethics.
