About
Marc Dambrine is Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour, affiliated with the Laboratory of Mathematics and their Applications (LMAP).
His research develops analytical and numerical methods for shape optimization, inverse problems, and uncertainty quantification in mechanical systems. Current projects focus on stochastic modeling of optimization algorithms and computational approaches for material defect identification.
He currently advises doctoral candidates on uncertainty quantification in PDEs and heat exchanger optimization, and serves as scientific advisor to HCERES for mathematics evaluation.
