Marc Boermans

Prof. Marc Boermans is a faculty member at Palucca University of Dance Dresden, holding the rank of Professor. Born in Antwerp, Belgium, he has an extensive career as a solo dancer with renowned companies such as the Royal Ballet of Flanders, Staatstheatre Darmstadt, and Semperoper Ballett. He has also served as a Ballet Master and Visiting Head of Training across theaters in Germany, Japan, Spain, Croatia, Sweden, and Switzerland.

His education includes studies at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp and Ballettschule Ilonka Theis. He emphasizes rigorous training in ballet techniques, focusing on muscle development, musicality, flexibility, and energy management for dancers' professional success in multinational environments. His teaching spans institutions like the Royal Ballet School Antwerp, Royal Conservatoire The Hague, and Achi Tanz Tokyo, alongside seminars in Japan, Spain, and Belgium.
