Professor Maralyn Druce is a Professor of Endocrine Medicine and Deputy Dean for Education (Postgraduate Taught Programmes) at Queen Mary University of London's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. She holds roles as Head of Governance for Undergraduate MBBS/Dental Programmes and Associate Dean for Undergraduates at Barts Health NHS Trust.
Education: Undergraduate training at Christ's College, Cambridge; clinical training at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine (1994). PhD in physiology from Imperial College London (focused on gut hormones and energy homeostasis). Masters in Medical Education (Dundee, 2016).
Research Interests: Neuroendocrine tumors (neuroendocrine neoplasia, carcinoid syndrome, radionuclide therapy), gut hormones in obesity, endocrine effects of cancer therapies, and women’s health/menopause care.
