Dr. Manès Weisskircher is a leading researcher in political science, specializing in far-right politics, social movements, and democracy studies. He currently leads the BMBF-funded research group REXKLIMA (Far-right politics versus climate action?) at TU Dresden’s Institute of Political Science. He is affiliated with the Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX) at the University of Oslo and the Center for Civil Society Research at WZB Berlin. Holding a PhD from the European University Institute (2019), his work bridges academic research and policy analysis.
His research focuses on far-right party strategies, electoral dynamics, and the intersection of climate policy with right-wing ideologies.
