Manuela Williams

Manuela Williams is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Teaching Fellow in History at the University of Strathclyde, serving as Director of Teaching in the Department of Humanities. She holds a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Her research focuses on international history (Middle Eastern mandates, Arab nationalism), propaganda, and 20th-century European politics, alongside pedagogical innovations in widening access, employability, and inclusive curriculum design. She has received awards including the 2015 Strathclyde Teaching Excellence Award.
