Manuel Pontes

Dr. Manuel Pontes is Professor of Marketing at Rowan University's William G. Rohrer College of Business. He teaches courses in marketing channels, principles of marketing, services marketing, retailing, and research methods. His research analyzes large national datasets including the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) and National Survey of Children's Health to track progress toward UN sustainability goals related to health.

His secondary research examines orthopedic surgery publications. Methodologically, he specializes in complex survey data analysis using R programming for statistical analysis and visualization.

He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from University of Florida, Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC San Diego, M.S. in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, and B.S. in Chemistry from University of Bombay.
