Manuel Luna Bennasar

Manuel Luna Bennasar is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). He holds a PhD in Physics and specializes in solar physics, with a particular focus on solar magnetohydrodynamics and the physics of solar prominences.

Dr. Luna's research focuses on solar magnetohydrodynamics, particularly the physics of solar prominences, nonlinear oscillations, solar tornadoes, and condensation processes in the solar corona. His work bridges theoretical astrophysics with observational data, contributing significantly to our understanding of solar atmospheric phenomena. His expertise spans plasma physics, solar physics, and astrophysics, with particular emphasis on the dynamic behavior of solar structures.
