Manpreet Kaur is a Lecturer in the School of Sustainable Energy Engineering at Simon Fraser University. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronic Systems Engineering from SFU (2019) and an M.Tech. (Integrated) in Nanotechnology from Amity University, India (2014), with a master’s thesis conducted at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. Her research focuses on cellular solids mechanics, advanced 3D printing materials for energy systems, and nanomaterials. She has taught courses such as Engineering Materials for Energy Systems, Measurement & Analysis, Computational Methods for Engineers, and Additive Manufacturing.
Her recent work explores structural sensing robots, compliant robotic grippers, and energy storage systems. She has contributed to interdisciplinary research in robotics, sensors, and sustainable materials. Her teaching spans engineering statistics, nanomaterials, and energy storage technologies.
