Manon Roche

Manon Roche is a Senior Lecturer at Aix-Marseille University, affiliated with the Radical Pharmacochemistry (PCR) team within the Faculty of Pharmacy Marseille. Her research focuses on antiviral drug design, particularly targeting human rhinovirus type B14.

• Key Research: Discovery and optimization of LPCRW_0005, a selective inhibitor of human rhinovirus replication, including mechanistic studies via site-directed mutagenesis and crystal structure analysis (PDB ID: 4PDW).
• Methods: Interdisciplinary approach combining chemistry, biology, and in silico drug design, leading to synthesis and evaluation of over 200 molecules with EC50 of ~30 nM and high selectivity index.
