Dr. Manjusri Misra is a Professor at the University of Guelph’s College of Engineering and holds a joint appointment in the Department of Plant Agriculture. As a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Sustainable Biocomposites, she leads groundbreaking research in bio-based materials for the circular economy.

Her research spans bio-based polymers, nanocomposites, and 3D printing of sustainable materials, with a focus on agricultural/forestry waste valorization. She has pioneered biodegradable resins for coffee pods and advanced microwave processing of biocomposites.
