Manisha Sharma is a Professor of Art Education in the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas. Her research focuses on cultural and community identity formation through art production and consumption, with specific emphasis on decolonizing pedagogical practices and community-oriented arts programming.

- B.F.A. in Photography from Delhi College of Art, India
Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in scholarly journals. She co-edited the Routledge volume "Makers, Crafters, Educators: Working for Social Change" (2018) and serves on the editorial board of the National Art Education Association's flagship journal.
Professor Sharma brings extensive international experience from teaching art and photography in K-12 schools across Japan, Mexico, and the U.S., as well as higher education appointments including the University of Arizona. She actively integrates cross-cultural perspectives into her pedagogy and research.
