Mandy Keck is a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, affiliated with the Research Center Hagenberg and the Assistive Technology Lab. Her work focuses on ICT and smart production technologies. She holds a PhD in Visual Exploration of Multidimensional Information Spaces from Technische Universität Dresden and completed her Media Computer Science degree at the same institution.
Her research centers on data visualization accessibility, tactile interfaces, and participatory data design, with emphasis on creating inclusive technologies for non-sighted users. Recent investigations include sonification techniques, data physicalization for public engagement, and educational tools for visualization literacy.
She received multiple distinctions including:
