Mandip Rai

Dr. Mandip Rai is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology at Queen’s University’s Department of Medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from McMaster University (2010), a Doctor of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine (2015), and a Master of Science in Evidence-Based Healthcare from the University of Oxford. His clinical and academic focus centers on therapeutic endoscopy and pancreaticobiliary disease. He completed residency in internal medicine (2018) and gastroenterology training (2020) at Queen’s University, followed by a therapeutic endoscopy fellowship (2021) and an advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto (2022), specializing in EMR, ERCP, EUS, and luminal stenting.

Dr. Rai’s expertise includes minimally invasive endoscopic techniques for gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary disorders. His academic work emphasizes translational research in endoscopic interventions and clinical decision-making in complex cases. He maintains affiliations with Queen’s University and Kingston Health Sciences Centre, contributing to both patient care and medical education.
