Ülo Mander is a Professor of Physical Geography & Landscape Ecology and Head of the Department of Geography at the University of Tartu, Estonia. His academic career spans over four decades with visiting professorships at institutions including Ohio State University (USA), IRSTEA (France), and the Agricultural University of Norway. He holds a B.Sc. (1977) and Ph.D. (1983) from the University of Tartu.
