Mandeep Mehra

Mandeep Mehra holds the William Harvey Distinguished Chair in Advanced Cardiovascular Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He serves as Medical Director of the Heart & Vascular Centre and Executive Director of the Centre for Advanced Heart Disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His expertise spans advanced heart disease management, heart and lung transplantation, and heart failure treatment.

Prof. Mehra is Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation, the top journal in its field. He previously served as President of both the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation and the Heart Failure Society of America.

His research focuses on translational and clinical advancements in cardiovascular medicine, particularly in transplantology and heart failure therapeutics. Collaborations with global institutions drive his work in improving patient outcomes through innovative protocols and multidisciplinary care.
