Manda Green

Manda Green is a Lecturer in British civilization at Lumière Lyon 2 University, affiliated with the Faculty of Languages (Department of Applied Foreign Languages). Her research focuses on gender dynamics in political institutions, particularly substantive representation of women and gender-focused parliamentary structures. She holds a PhD from the University of Stirling and was awarded the Carnegie Trust National Excellence Fellowship (2005). Professional roles include Director of the CIEF (2017–2020) and teaching positions at institutions in France, Scotland, Turkey, and elsewhere. Her work explores transnational feminism, suffragist movements in English-speaking countries, and legislative gender disparities. Key publications include analyses of France’s parliamentary women’s delegation and comparative studies on global suffrage movements.
