Man Jin

Man Jin is an Associate Professor of Economics at Oakland University's School of Business Administration. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from SUNY Binghamton (2016), an M.Phil in Finance from Lingnan University (Hong Kong), and a B.Sc. in Finance from Zhejiang University (China). His research focuses on Financial Economics, Monetary Economics, and Development Economics, with publications in journals like European Journal of Operational Research and Journal of Productivity Analysis. He has received multiple awards including the URC Summer Research Fellowship (2021) and SBA Journal Awards (2020, 2019, 2018).

Dr. Jin's research explores topics such as banking efficiency, capital inflows' political impacts, subsidy effects on productivity, and information asymmetry in financial markets. His work often employs advanced econometric techniques like semiparametric models. He has contributed to book chapters on globalization and productivity in the Handbook of Production Economics (2022). Teaching areas include Mathematical Economics and Monetary Economics.
