Malissa Martin is Professor and current Provost in the Department of Health Sciences at Rocky Mountain University, with prior administrative roles including PhD Director, Associate Dean, and Associate Provost. She developed the first accredited athletic training education program in South Carolina and held leadership positions at University of South Carolina, Middle Tennessee State University, and Mount St. Joseph University.
Her research specializes in athletic training education methodologies and female health issues, supported by over 100 scholarly publications and 120+ national presentations. She serves on editorial boards for the Athletic Training Education Journal and International Journal of Athletic Therapy and Training.
